B. Detection capability and detection range of noise monitor

Noise 30-130DB ±1.5DB detection uses electret head.

C. Installation and wiring of noise monitor

Do not connect the transmitter to a voltage higher than 24VDC.

Install the equipment according to the product appearance and dimension diagram in the drawing.
 Install the transmitter at the location where detection is required, away from heating elements or steam sources, and prevent direct sunlight.
 When wiring the circuit, connect the wires to the terminal blocks to ensure that the wiring is correct and firm.

From right to left, they are numbered 1-7 and defined as follows:

1. +12V; 2. GND; 3. RS485A; 4. RS485B; 5. I1/V1; 6. I2/V2; 7. TCP/IP

E. Noise monitor communication protocol

The RTU mode of the MODBUS protocol is adopted. In the RTU mode, the message transmission must start with a pause interval of at least 3.5 characters.

When the first field (address field) is received, each device decodes it to determine whether it is sent to itself. After the last transmitted character, a pause of at least 3.5 characters marks the end of the message.

A new message can start after this pause. The entire message frame must be transmitted as a continuous stream.

If there is a pause of more than 3.5 characters before the message frame is completed, the receiving device will refresh the incomplete message and assume that the next byte is the address field of a new message.

1. The hardware uses RS485, master-slave half-duplex communication, the master calls the slave address, and the slave responds to the communication.

2. Data frame format: 1 start bit, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit, no check bit.

3. Baud rate: 9600bps.

4. The message frame contains: address field, function code field, data field, CRC16 detection field.

5. This device supports hexadecimal 03H, 10H function codes (i.e. decimal 03 and 16 function codes). Among them, 03H is used to read the device stack, and 10H is used to modify the device stack.

F. Precautions for use:

(1) The RS485 communication line needs to use a shielded twisted pair cable, and two 250Ω terminal matching resistors are required if necessary.

(2) The operating environment should be free of conductive dust and gases that corrode metals and damage insulation, and avoid direct sunlight and rain.

(3) Long-term operation in a high humidity environment greater than 90%RH will cause drift.

(4) Avoid placing components in salt spray, acidic or oxidizing gas (sulfur dioxide, hydrochloric acid, etc.) environments.

2. The warranty period starts from the date of invoice issuance or the date of registration and purchase of the warranty card. For online sales, it starts from the date of receipt.

Note: After-sales service does not include the following situations:
